Erik's birthday was the 27th of June. We had a 24 themed party; his favorite TV show. He may be the only 24 year old to have a themed party, but it was stylish! I made Erik a cake that looked like a bomb. It was pretty tasty... and I may have had too much fun making it.
I got Erik some tickets to go on the Maid of the Mist. It is a boat that takes you really close to the falls and it is so much fun! If you ever come to Buffalo you CANNOT miss the Maid of the Mist. It is kind of thrilling to be so close and the view is incredible.
Since his birthday we've been having a lot of fun grilling on Erik's new Weber. We've made chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, and corn on it so far. We really like the summer grilling fun that we've been having.
Oh great theme and cake!! Griffin would love that (his fav show too!) I'll have to show him! And the Maid of the Mist is great! I remember getting wet--and that seemed to have happened to you too :)

ReplyDeleteGreat job on the birthday and the cake! We've been on the Maid of the Mist too and it was lots of fun! If you get a chance you should try the Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours. Its a little pricy, but totally fun and worth it! Glad you guys are having fun. :)
